Academic Enrichment

Preschool, kindergarten and first grade camp groups will immerse themselves in our new Academic Enrichment program. As part of the camp day, these young campers have the option of working with their group teachers and counselors to keep the academic momentum going on reading, writing and math skills, in a fun, summer atmosphere. Activities are presented in a way that stimulates questions, encourages discovery, and leaves the camper wanting more. Varied teaching methods reinforce academic goals and may include SmartBoard use, laptop use (by the teacher), cooking, classroom instruction, reading in the library, nature walks, and arts-n-crafts.
