Admissions Process

Thank you for your interest in Harbor Country Day School.  We welcome new students each new academic year into our school, and occasionally during the year if we have openings.

Children are welcome to apply for our Early Childhood (Nursery-Kindergarten), Lower School (Grades 1-4) and Upper School (Grades 5-8) programs.  To begin the application process you should call 631-584-5555 and ask for Mrs. Chris Spahr, Director of Admissions, to schedule a visit and request a viewbook and an application package.

Decisions on Early Childhood applications are made on a rolling basis as space allows. Children are required to be age 3 for Nursery and age 4 for Pre-Kindergarten by December 1 of their entry year.

Applications for Grades K-8 must be received by February 28 for first-round decisions. Decision notification letters will be mailed by March 10. Decisions on applications received after February 28 will be made on a rolling basis as space allows.
